Lake Hill

SIS Development Committee Chaired by Wendy Timm is directing the efforts to select a Developer/Operator team that will build a senior community withing the Lake Hill Workforce Housing project.

The firm pmd Advisory Services has completed a Preliminary Market Analysis quantifying the need Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Beds (Private Pay), Short-Term Rehab (Medicare) and Medicaid beds) in Summit County, CO.  Their analysis found demand for nearly 100 beds for these levels of care.  And, there is an additional need for Independent Living senior housing.

Architects from the firm RDG Planning Design have visited the Lake Hill site and received input for concept design from SIS representatives, County officials and other stakeholders.  They are in the process of developing several scenarios to what the Lake Hill Senior community could look like.

The SIS Development team has a list of firms that have indicated some interest in pursuing the Lake Hill senior community project.  And we have begun to prepare a Request for Information to go out to these prospective Developers once the County has chosen the Master Developer for the Lake Hill project.
