Active church member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal church, member of the Inter-Faith Council representing the Senior Board, Meal on Wheels volunteer, and enthusiastic bridge player.

  • Sherri Steeves - Vice President

    Board Member, President of Eagle-Summit Speech-Language Services, Inc. Sherri created a private practice in 1984 to establish services for all ages in the rural mountain setting of Summit County and neighboring communities. Collaboration with others and working to forge networks to offer access to therapies has been a driving force for her professional efforts. Involvement in early childhood, home care and hospice, local and regional schools, special education administration, and service provision for a K-12 setting has honed Sherri’s interest and passion to create resources for human potential.

After a first career as a Petroleum Engineer with Marathon Oil company he branched out to specialize in turnaround management, project management, and process improvement. For 20 years before retiring he served on a contract basis as the Financial Advisor for Cleveland City Council.

    Christina (native New Yorker), recently retired mortgage banker, 36 years. Passionate for affordable housing and veterans’ issues with an extensive finance background. Founding board member 1983-1995 of RDAC Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corporation, a grass roots, not for profit, affordable housing organization that administers various state and federal housing grant programs and offers multiple housing and counseling services. Since 1983 RDAC has rehabilitated and constructed more than 1,000 housing units and became an example of success in home counseling, foreclosure prevention and senior housing. She currently has been an Advisory board member with the Opportunity Coalition 1983-present, (promotes and facilitate a business-friendly environment that encourages free enterprise, entrepreneurship and collaboration for Colorado citizens). Christina and her husband Terry Simone are active in a variety of state and national business organizations and have made their Summit County home their primary residence.

    Terry Simone

    Terry is one of the founding partners of Four Mile Capital and focuses on acquisitions and asset management of Four Mile Capital’s expanding portfolio. He has been involved in the multifamily acquisition, asset, and property management business for more than 50 years, having worked in all aspects of an apartment community’s life cycle. Following college and serving in the US Army, Terry was a real estate broker, brokering large commercial transactions in New York and Connecticut. In 1992, Terry came to Colorado as Executive VP of Maxx Properties, where he was tasked with growing the firm’s Western portfolio. Terry grew their Colorado presence to over 4,000 units, and expanded into Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Maryland, Nebraska, and Florida. When Terry left Maxx Properties in 2009, Maxx’s total portfolio numbered 15,000 units valued at more than $1B dollars. For the past 15 years, Terry has been very involved with the Colorado Apartment Association, serving as its President twice and sits both on the Board of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD) and on its Executive Committee. Terry was recently honored as a 2017 Inductee to the AAMD Hall of Fame. he currently serves as the National Apartment Association RVP for Region 8 and is on the National Apartment Association Legislation Board of Directors.
